Item Description
A collectible vintage (1900's) silver and blue cobalt (glass) scarab brooch. Known for their bold designed jewelry and mesh handbags, this brooch looks like a buckle, but its actually a brooch. Designed by the Payne and Baker silver company, this brooch hosts four uniquely matched hand-carved cobalt scarabs (one of the tiny scarabs appears to have a small blemish on it.) The brooch has the designer's hallmark "P & A" (inside hearts) and "STERLING."

Because of the variety of “tastes” our customers have in regards to silver estate jewelry, we will lightly clean the item, but not polish it. Some collectors prefer a polished look, while others enjoy the natural aging of the metal as it is. So we leave that choice up to you to decide.
