ITEM DESCRIPTION
Featured is a natural rutilated quartz. Rutilated quartz has distinctive "needle-like" structures within the body of the gem, and can display a variety of colors like gold, borwn, rust, and black tourmaline. As the quartz crystal was growing it enveloped rutile crystals, forming what is known as rutilated quartz. This particular 7mm thick gems is transparent, translucent and opaque throughout the body and displays both golden rutile and black tourmaline rutile.
