ITEM DESCRIPTION
Featured is a natural Herkimer Diamond Quartz. Herkimer Quartz Diamonds, are not really diamonds, they are simply small quartz crystals, that when found in nature, actually look like small rough natural diamonds. "Herkimer Diamond" is a generic name for double-terminated quartz crystals, which were first discovered in exposed outcrops of dolostone at Little Falls in Herkimer County, New York and the Mohawk River Valley.

This particular thumbnail specimen displays a unique cluster of several Herkimer Quartz formations, with the largest water-clear formation in the center pointed right. It is surrounded by several "sidecar" crystals at the base. This thumbnail specimen comes with the 1.25" acrylic box case.
