ITEM DESCRIPTION
Featured is a genuine natural chlorite quartz crystal cluster, found in Nevada. Chlorite Quartz is the name given to Quartz included (or coated) with Chlorite. Chlorite Quartz often forms phantom formations, where Chlorite is deposited on the surface of Quartz, which subsequently grows larger, creating a 'green ghost crystal' within the Quartz crystal. Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals on earth. It can be found in many places on earth. While primarily found as a clear crystal gem, it can be found in a wide variety of colors including clear, rose, yellow, browns and champagne. Quarts is usually a transparent gemstone.

This particular gemstone is made of several mossy-like green quartz points together, forming a two-point cluster. The chlorite inclusions are both inside the crystal and outside. This thumbnail specimen comes with the 1.25" acrylic box case.
