Item Description
Featured is a genuine Peruvian Blue Opal. Peruvian blue opal is relatively rare and is only found in the Andes mountains near San Patricio, Peru. It is a very translucent/opaque stone with color similar to the Caribbean Sea. Depending on how the stone is cut it can be clear, scenic (showing varying shades of color) or dendritic which has black fern like inclusions. Peruvian Blue Opals are known by their rich blue color, ranging from solid blue to various bands or layers of cream, brown, tan, green, black and white. This particular gemstone is translucent/opaque with colors slight blue, predominately jade-green, tan, white and dark brown.
