Featured is a genuine Ethiopian Opal. It is in its natural form as a gem rough/specimen, and is found in Ethiopia. Ethiopian Opal appears as a translucent clear gem. Ethiopian Opal is unlike any other opal, in that they are almost clear when made into cabochons and are renowned for their incredible play of color, including yellows, oranges, blues and reds, all inside a near clear gemstone. It is expected to increase in value as supply becomes scares. This particular gemstone has an intense deep rainbow color play.
