Item Description
Featured are genuine Mother of Pearl cabochon disks. They are found in many places on the earth. Mother of pearl, is an organic material produced by some mollusks as an inner shell layer and also makes up the outer coating of pearls. It is strong, resilient, and iridescent. Each of these natural gems have been cut into round flat diskes (some have a slight curve, given the natural contour of the shell). One side of each gem is the polished mother of pearl, while the other side has been left as the natural shell.
