Item Description
Featured is a genuine Tanzania Purple Garnet. Garnets can be found in a variety of places on earth and range in a rainbow of colors to red, orange, yellow green and purple. There are a number of regionally-named varieties of rhodolite garnet. One of the most well-known is Umbalite, a more purple-magenta variety found in the Umba River Valley of Tanzania. These particular gemstones have a deep rich purple color when backlit through the gem.
