It can be found in several places on the earth, primarily Brazil, and can be a light to dark aqua-green-blue color (the Santa Maria Aquacolor is most sought after deep color). Most aquamarine is translucent. This particular gemstone has a light aqua-blue color and is transparent. We hand-selected this gemstone specific to the quality as described above.
