Featured is a genuine aquamarine. Aquamarine is a member of the beryl mineral family (as is emerald). It can be found in several places on the earth, primarily Brazil, and can be a light to dark aqua-green-blue color (the Santa Maria Aquacolor is most sought after deep color). Most aquamarine is translucent. These particular gemstones have a light aqua-blue color and are transparent. We hand-selected this gemstone specific to the quality as described above.
