Featured is a genuine aquamarine. Aquamarine is a member of the beryl mineral family (as is emerald). It can be found in several places on the earth, primarily Brazil, and can be a light to dark aqua-green-blue color (the Santa Maria Aquacolor is most sought after deep color). Most aquamarine is translucent. This particular gemstone has a medium aqua-blue color and is translucent. We hand-selected this gemstone specific to the quality as described above.
