Featured is a genuine rough Montana sapphire. Sapphires can be found in a variety of places on the earth, but this rough specimen sapphire was found in Montana. This particular sapphire is a natural river mined rough specimen, unheated, with a light golden color to it. This sapphire also displays a naturally formed triangle, sometimes referred to as a “record keeper.”
