Featured is a genuine green jade cabochon. Jade refers to an ornamental mineral, mostly known for its green varieties, but can be found in several other colors as well. Jade can refer to either of two different minerals: nephrite, a silicate of calcium and magnesium, or jadeite, a silicate of sodium and aluminum. This particular gemstone jade has a natural traditional green patterned color and is approximately 4.75mm thick.
