Featured are genuine carnelian cabochons. Carnelian is a chalcedony gemstone, very similar in look to Sard. carnelian were found in many places and have an intense transparent orange-cherry-red color, very similar to the hue of the finest quality cherry fire opal. This particular gem has an intense orange color with visible cream-white banding on one side.
