ITEM DESCRIPTION Featured is a genuine Inesite. Insite is a gem mineral that can be found in a variety of places around the world. Inesite is not a common mineral in rock shops and in mineral displays. However, it can form attractive pink or rose colored specimens that are sought after by mineral collectors. The commonly seen prismatic crystals have a slanted or “chisel-shaped” termination, which makes it an uncommon and rare mineral shape. This particular specimen was discovered in Trinity County, California.
